You Can Watch Movies Online

By Sherry Pies

Downloading free movies on the internet is like shooting fish in a barrel. You can find hundreds of sources, programs and sites that allow you to have an endless evening of entertainment for free. Just simply type in "Free Movies" into Google and look at your search results.

Downloadable movies are great in many ways. One perk is that when you download the movie it will stay on your hard drive until you are ready to delete it. At anytime, you can go to your files and begin the movie or pick up where you left off.

If you have both QuickTime and Windows Media Player you can cover most file formats that are out there. Periodically, you will want to download a movie that is not in a generic file format. I would not suggest downloading the specific video player for that movie.

It would make more sense to download a free conversion program. These programs are designed to reformat movie files into more generic types. This will free you up from having several video players on your hard drive and open up more space for downloads.

It takes roughly twenty minutes to get the movie onto your computer. It will stay there as long as you do not open it. Once you open it, you have twenty-four hours with the file on your computer.

If you are looking to put your downloaded movie onto your Ipod and PSP then you will need a converter for that as well. Having a multifaceted converter can really save you a lot of time in effort when trying to watch a movie. If you find a good converter, familiarize yourself with it because it should be all you need.

Like Blockbuster, Amazon has the most recent films to be released. If you are unsure about a film, you can watch a preview of any movie on the site. You can also read the synopses and the reviews of the movie.

One piece of hardware you really need is a DVD burner. A decent one can cost anywhere from $40 to $200 dollars. While it may seem expensive, a good DVD burner will allow you to copy your files onto a CDR and free up memory on your computer.

Like many other sites, Amazon has their movies broken down into genres. They have everything from TV shows to sports. They also have a large library that you can select from.

Amazon also has weekend rentals. Instead of staying on your computer for one day, the movie will stay on from Saturday to late Sunday night. This will allow you to watch the movie a couple times or let other people from your family watch it.

Most movies on the site cost $1.99. While they may be more expensive than the free ones, it is also way better. If you are a person who is into quality and looking to not go out, then you should consider going to Amazon instead of going to the free movie sites. - 15634
