The Dell 1110 Printer: Monochrome and Marvelous

By Ben Pate

There is no denying the fact that printers can be very expensive, which is why so many people turn instead to standard black and white printers, such as the Dell 1110 printer, which also has its own Dell 1110 Toner. A lot of people choose Dell printers even if they do not use a Dell computer, PC, or laptop. This is partly because of the high quality of Dell's products, whether they are high tech or totally standard. The fact that a lot of Dell printers are actually manufactured by Lexmark, another big name in printers, also speaks well of the brand.

This printer is thought to be entry level in addition to being monochromatic. That basically just means that it prints out documents solely in black and white. Due to that fact, it is more affordable than a lot of other printers.

One reason this is a popular model is because of economy - of space, that is. It is a very small and lot model, so it will not take up a whole lot of space. This is always a plus, especially if you are in cramped quarters. Professional offices and home based studies and offices are well suited for this printer.

In order to print your documents, you have to open it by way of unfolding its paper support, which is located in the output tray, itself found on the top of the printer. You then need to open up the front cover, which is used to form the input tray. The printer does not have a paper cover, however, which does mess with the convenience factor a bit.

That is just one con, though, and it is negated by a whole lot of pros. Not the least of these is the fact that you can put this printer wherever you need to without worrying about space. It is also very easy to use I terms of putting the toner cartridges into the machine. They and the drum are integrated together. Furthermore, a handy handle folds out so that you can easily get the cartridges in and out.

The printer boasts two indicator lights which are used for different things. In addition to turning the printer on and showing errors, they also combine to denote the fact that the printer is performing different duties and functions. There is also a control button which can cancel out printing jobs in progress. At the back of the machine, you can find sockets for the power plug and a USB device.

It is easy to install this printer onto your computer as well. The applications included are very helpful. For instance, one of them will take you to Dell's supply site when you begin running low on Dell Toner. That way, you will never risk running out of ink at an inopportune time. - 15634
