There are so many items on World of Warcraft, and definitely not enough inventory space to keep them all. The higher your level, the more space you need. It can be quite challenging finding creative ways to manage your inventory.
So what can you do when your hoarding tendencies are threatened? Jonathan Kenins of Secret Warcraft offers a couple of useful tips in dealing with this kind of problem
First you should take full advantage of the bag slots, bank slots and character slots that you do have available. You are allowed to create 5 characters on each server...So what you do is you create a low level character, and put them in each of their respective auction houses (If you're playing both sides)
Take advantage of the bag slots, buy Netherweave bags which are 16-slot bags for 5g, 6g or 7g each, and equip your characters with them. So that's instantly a lot of bag space between your characters already! You can also have a look at Traveller's Backpack, buy them if they're fairly cheap on your server because these are not soulbound so you can move them around.
You can maximize your bank slots by buying the slots available there. The first few slots are quite cheap and useful when you start making gold. It's not that expensive to buy the 25g slot, it's definitely worth it in the long run.
Most people are happy with that, maximizing their inventory slots with Netherweave Bags as well as buying the bank slots... But if you really, really need more space, then another option is to set up your own banking guild. A lot of people do this, they go around offering people gold to sign their guild charter, I've earned quite a bit of cash from these people when I was still new and barely had any cash, so it was a welcome money-making opportunity for me back then, but then I discovered Secret Warcraft and Ive been following Jonathans guides, videos, and podcasts since then.
Anyway, so if youre still really lacking bank space, perhaps you could start your own banking guild, just stand around Stormwind, Undercity, or Orgrimmar and ask people to sign your guild charter. Its a very cheap and easy way to get a lot more free space. - 15634
